It was interesting, a bit creepy given its history.They simply do not provide a level of service to warrant the price. The restaurant wasn’t open. The bar, even when there were only four other customers, took half an hour to get a glass of wine. Snail pace service, grounds need work, amenities are nearly non-existent.
The staff were very nice, but not properly trained or up for the task.
The history is interesting, but very sad. Over embracing the asylum backstory makes the guests uncomfortable.
